The app found nothing to place
That usually means the photos already have a location, or there are no geotagged photos near them in time to reason from. Photo Geotag only proposes a place when the shots around a photo can justify one — it will not invent a pin. Check a photo's Info panel in Photos: if it already shows a map, there is nothing for this app to do.
My camera photos are not being grouped
Groups form from photos that share the same pair of geotagged anchors, come from the same camera, and sit close together in time. If your camera's clock is off, its photos land in the wrong part of the timeline and stop lining up with the anchors. Set the camera offset in the app and the groups reappear.
A location was written that I did not want
Undo. Every write is journalled before it happens, so Undo restores the exact prior state of each photo — including photos that had no location at all, which go back to having none. It works after quitting the app.
The app is asking for full photo library access
It reads the geotagged photos around an untagged one to work out where it was taken, so a partial selection has nothing to reason from — the method genuinely does not work on a subset. It asks for nothing else: no location services, no contacts, no network.

- Roughly how many photos are involved — one group, or a whole trip.
Please do not attach photos. We do not want them and cannot use them: nothing about your library ever leaves your device, and that does not change because you are asking for help. A description of what you saw is enough. If a screenshot helps, crop it to the part that matters.
Reporting a wrong placement
The interesting bug reports are the ones where the app was confident and wrong — where it showed a pin rather than skipping. If that happens, tell us roughly where the photo was actually taken, where the app put it, and how far apart in time the surrounding geotagged photos were. That is enough to reproduce the reasoning without seeing a single image.
